This extra-early, yellow sweet corn produces 1-2 ears 7” long on short plants about 4 feet tall. Its tolerance to cold weather makes it ideal for the first corn planting of the season. High sugar content (SU) stays sweeter longer after harvest.

SOWING…Plant seed outdoors in full sun after danger of frost has passed and soil has started to warm. Best when planted in 4 rows of at least 6 plants. Space rows 3’ apart spacing seed 4-6” apart in row. Cover with 1 ½” soil well pressed down.

THINNING…When plants are 3 to 5 inches tall, thin to 12 inches apart in the row.

GERMINATION…Germinates in 5 to 10 days depending on soil and temperature conditions.

REMARKS…For continuous harvest of Sweet Corn make successive plantings every 2 or 3 weeks during the season. For highest yields fertilize 2 times during season. When cultivating, pull soil up around plants to help prevent wind damage. Pick when silks turn brown.
