Weather permitting, if the soil has warmed some, now would be a good time to add processed manure, peat, or compost to your soil.

When weeds start to appear is the time to pull them. Before they have a chance to flower and go to seed. Most weeds can be pulled or cultivated out of the garden. Check under the eaves of the house and under evergreens to see if your gardens have enough moisture.
