Catgrass

Cats and kittens love grass and growing catgrass indoors, year round, is easy and fun. Cats will lie on it and eat some, which also helps keep them from eating your houseplants. Safe and nontoxic, catgrass aids in their digestion. Take home a packet for your cat or for a cat-lover you know.

SOWING…Plant seed indoors any time of year in a pot, flat bottomed bowl or tray filled with any good soil mix available at your garden supply store. Plant seed thinly and press into the soil (not quite covering the seeds) and water. Cover with plastic wrap and place in a warm spot (both night and day) until seeds sprout. Remove plastic after germination and water whenever soil appears dry.

GERMINATION…Germinates in 4 to 7 days depending on soil and weather conditions.
