Earlier and more dwarf than Sugar Snap, this popular variety can be used from immature stage until pods start to become netted. Strings in pods should be stripped out. They are at their best when pods are round and firm. Can be used raw in salads as well as cooked.

SOWING…Plant seed outdoors in March whenever weather allows. Plant seeds 1 ½ inches apart in rows 2 ½ feet apart. Cover seed with 2 inches of soil, well pressed down.

THINNING…When plants are 2 to 3 inches tall, thin to 3 inches apart.

GERMINATION…Germinates in 10 to 14 days depending on soil and temperature conditions.

REMARKS…This variety only grows 1 ½ to 2 feet and can be grown without support. Planting in double rows 6 inches apart will provide additional support where necessary. Make repeated plantings for continuous supply all season.
