Height 4-5 Feet One of the finest of all annuals, its lovely and fragrant flowers are borne on long stems. Unsurpassed as a cut flower.

SOWING... Plant seed outdoors in Spring as soon as the ground can be worked, or in late Summer to early Winter for blooming the following Spring. Sow seed in a trench 6 inches deep, about 1 inch apart and cover with 1 inch of fine soil.

THINNING...When plants are 4-5 inches high, gradually start filling in the trench with soil each week until the ground surface is level. Thin to 6 inches apart. If planted in the fall or winter, cover with mulch.

GERMINATION...Germinates in 10 to 14 days depending on soil and weather conditions. Soaking seed for 24 hours in room temperature water prior to planting speeds germination. 

REMARKS...As soon as plants are 6 inches high train vines with string or brush as wire burns the tendrils. Water once a week by soaking ground around vines. Keep flowers picked to prolong blooming.
