A vigorous climbing vine, producing large fragrant white flowers (often 4 inches or more across) at night. Useful for covering arbors, trellises, porches and tree stumps.
SOWING…Sow seed outdoors in a sunny location after all danger of frost is past. May also be started indoors early. Cover seed with ½ inch of soil, well pressed down.
THINNING…When plants are 2 inches tall, thin to 6 inches apart. When vines are 12 inches tall give them support for climbing.
GERMINATION…Germinates in 7 to 14 days depending on soil and weather conditions.
REMARKS…Seed has a very hard coat and better results will be obtained if the seed is soaked in lukewarm water for 24 to 48 hours before planting. Thrives in almost any garden soil and blooms all summer.
