A free-flowing annual bearing large single flowers of brilliant red. Very attractive in masses and useful in borders.
SOWING…Sow seed outdoors in early spring after all danger of frost is past. For best results, loosen soil with rake or hoe. Cover seed with ⅛ inch of fine soil well pressed down. Keep moist until plants begin to grow.
THINNING…When plants are 2-3 inches high, thin or transplant to 8 to 10 inches apart.
GERMINATION…Germinates in 9 to 14 days depending on soil and temperature conditions.
REMARKS…Wildflowers require little care. Water only when needed by soaking ground around plants.
