Lovely purple-blue flowers unfurl like fiddleheads of spring ferns and are famous for attracting many pollinators, especially bees of all kinds. Lacy foliage on sturdy stems; for sun or partial shade. Drought tolerant once established.
SOWING…Direct sow seed where it is to grow; does not transplant well. Plant seed ¼ inch deep after danger of all frost has past.
THIN…to 10-12 inches apart.
GERMINATION…in 4-7 days. Keep evenly moist until first true leaves appear.
REMARKS…Flowers are lightly fragrant and are edible. Plants will often self-seed one year to the next.
