This perennial will bloom the first year if started in early spring. A tetraploid version of the familiar Rudbeckia mixture that results in extremely large blooms up to 5 inches across in various combinations of gold and red.
SOWING…Plant seed outdoors after all danger of frost is past or start indoors 4 to 6 weeks earlier. Plant seed ⅛ inch deep and cover with fine soil, well pressed down. May be planted through mid-summer.
THINNING…When plants are 2 to 4 inches high, thin or transplant 12 to 15 inches apart.
GERMINATION…Germinates in 7 to 10 days depending on soil and temperature conditions.
REMARKS…Flowers all summer when planted in full sun. Plant in garden where they will bloom year after year.
