This long lived perennial produces beautiful, long lasting, and very large 3 to 4 inch purple-red flowers with bronze domed shaped centers on long stems.

SOWING…Sow in a sunny location during early spring through mid summer. For best results, loosen soil with rake or hoe. Cover seed with ⅛ inch of fine soil well pressed down. Keep moist until plants begin to grow.

THINNING…When plants are 2 to 3 inches high, thin to 18 to 24 inches apart.

GERMINATION…Germinates in 15 to 20 days depending on soil and temperature conditions.

REMARKS…Wildflowers require little care. Water only when necessary. For additional plants, divide clumps after 2 or 3 years of flowering.
