History
A native of the North American plains, the colors of this flower are said to have inspired the native American women to weave the patterns and colors into their blankets.
Habit
One of the easiest to grow of all perennial daisies. Will produce a continuous profusion of brilliantly colored flowers from early Summer until late Fall. Prefers full sun, will tolerate heat, drought and poor soil. Normally needs no winter protection. Height 2 ½ feet.
Culture
Sow outdoors in late spring or early summer. Cover seed with ⅛ inch of fine soil. Keep soil moist until seeds sprout. Thin to 12 inches apart. Germinates in 3 to 4 weeks.
