The Zinnia is one of the most popular garden flowers today. Large 4-5 inch white blooms on tall, strong plants are unexcelled for cutting and excellent for background plantings.
SOWING…Sow seed outdoors as soon as the danger of frost is past or start indoors 4 to 6 weeks earlier. Plant seed ¼ inch deep and cover with fine soil.
THINNING…When plants are 3-6 inches tall then or transplant to stand 1 ½ feet apart in rows 2 ½ feet apart.
GERMINATION…Germinates in 5 to 7 days depending on soil and weather conditions.
REMARKS…One of the easiest kinds to grow from seed. Satisfactory results are obtained by sowing as late as July.
