
All events are designed to include children and parents learning and working together. These events are intended for children 12
and under, no child will be permitted to be left unsupervised by a parent or
guardian.
APRIL 18th
3:00-4:00
Potted Pansies $20 Per Child
Children and
parents will learn all about Earth Day (April 22nd) and ways you can
work together to help maintain a healthier planet. Each child will decorate and plant a pot full of beautiful cold
hardy pansies to take home for Earth Day.

Potted Flower Gift $20 Per Child
Children and parents will tour the Garden Center, learning
about different flowers and what they can be used for.
Each child will create a beautiful flower container to take home as a
gift for mom.

Families
will explore bug eating plants such as the Venus Fly Trap and Pitcher
plant. We will release ladybugs and talk about how “good bugs” help
maintain a healthy garden. Each child will get a Bug Eating Plant to take
home.

Families
will learn about and see plants that attract hummingbirds. Each child will create a Hummingbird Garden
in a container to take home.
3:00-4:00

Learn
how to grow veggies in a container.
Each child will plant and take home a pizza garden consisting of a
tomato plant, green pepper plant, onion plants, and herbs, a great Father’s day
gift.

Learn about
unique “cool” plants for kids to grow and experiment with. Each child will receive a pot to take home
with unique plants to experiment with.

Children
will learn about how different plants use water in different ways to survive
and flourish. Each child will make a
decorative bird bath to take home for our fine feathered friends during this
hot summer month.
SEPTEMBER 18th
3:00-4:00

Learn
how the wind helps to pollinate flowers, also how it can be used as an
alternative energy source. Each child
will make and take home a decorative hanging wind chime.
OCTOBER 2nd
3:00-4:00

Colorful Fall Leaves $20 per Child
Learn
how leaves make food and why they change colors in the Fall. In this fun
and interactive class, kids will learn some fun facts about trees and make a
project to take home to celebrate the autumn season.
